The Minor Arcana is divided into four suits - just like ordinary playing cards -, Wands (signifying fire and passion), Cups (signifying water and emotions, as well as intuition), Swords (signifying air, the mind and intellect), and Pentacles (signifying earth and money or values, materiality).
